Since 1911, when its long and glorious history began, the da Tura has been more than the Hotel Bologna's bar. It is the city of Mestre's café, a place to meet and enjoy an Illy coffee or pre-dinner drink, either gazing at the giant photograph of the bar as it looked at the beginning of the twentieth century, or sitting comfortably around the tables on the terrace.
In the evening, the da Tura becomes a stage for Moreno, the Hotel Bologna's barman for the past 26 years, and offers a variety of wines, the unmissable spritz (Venice's "official" aperitif) and traditional Venetian tipples known as cicchetti. And if you suddenly feel peckish we have prawns, shellfish, raw sea truffles, oysters, Sauris and Montagnana hams, salted cod, parmesan freshly cut from the round, baby octopus, anchovies in oil, bruschetta breads and lots more.
The da Tura bar is open every day from 7 to midnight, for room service as well.
